thank you john, i would love a few tubers to plant in my garden in south east qld, i tink they will do alright here,as ihave grown other types of tubers that that are common in nz,but have not beenable to get any yam tubers to try. thanks heaps

Hi John, I planted those yams you sent. They suffered a bit in spring with weeks of +30 heat, but have taken off now the temperature is more 'normal'.

John, Any chance of getting any yams? I know its a little late, but I am willing to try anything. Usually I half cook, and then freeze them to bring them back to Sydney, but if only I could get some fresh ones, that would be amazing. Linda

Hi John, I have been trying to get hold of some Oca tubers to plant this year and have not found a source in Tassie as yet-the closest i got was Young's veggie shed in Nthern Tas, sometimes they get them in from a local grower. Any chance that i can buy some off you? Cheers Steve

as an ex kiwi i really miss the purple kumara & the yellow/orange yams unfortunately the orange/golden/and purple flavoured sweet potatoes don't have the same flavour and i have not been able to find yams anywhere
