Broad Beans (also Fava bean) 21 May, Gaye (New Zealand - cool/mountain climate)
Planted bb plants in Invercargill a few weeks ago as climate autumnal. I think they will be good early spring. Often whatever is at garden centres will be an indication on what to put in. Also put kale and few lettuce plants in and will put garlic in in June

Luffa (also Loofah, plant sponge) 08 May, Naasera (South Africa - Dry summer sub-tropical climate)
I've seen YouTube videos with 2 types of loofah. The one with ridges, and a much larger one without ridges. I live in Natal and want seeds for the much larger type. Please advise where I can get these seeds.

Brussels sprouts 04 May, Tina (USA - Zone 9b climate)
I planted my brussel sprout in early October I trimmed back all the lower leaves and I'm barely starting to get fruit now it's the first weekend in May and I'm getting little fruit about the size of a pencil eraser does it normally take this long?
Brussels sprouts 28 May, Nicole (USA - Zone 9b climate)
We planted ours in September. Our plants got huge by February but the actual sprouts remained tiny...and spicy! We discovered how delicious the leaves are so now we grow brussel sprouts for the leaves, rather than the brussels themselves :)

Ginger 21 May, Geoff (Australia - temperate climate)
Don't pull the plant out. Just dig a little and break off a piece of root as you need it.
Garlic 02 May, Lou (Australia - sub-tropical climate)
Hi this is my second year growing garlic. This years crop the above ground green is going yellow. Is there something I maybe lacking in fertiliser or lime. Thanks in advance Cheers Lou
Garlic 12 May, David Warland (Australia - temperate climate)
Gday Lou, could be a few things, Nitrogen of course, but, it could well be magnesium, trace elements etc. Get a pH test done on you soil, garlic like most veggies like acidic soil, I aim for 6.5 in my garlic beds. Is your soil well draining ? Try some blood and bone and add some extra magnesuium Sulphate, (epsom salts). If your pH is too high, you must lower it, or risk poor or no crop.
Garlic 07 May, (Australia - sub-tropical climate)
Probably lacks nitrogen
Cape Gooseberry (also Golden Berry, Inca Berry ) 02 May, Suzie Carlile (United Kingdom - warm/temperate climate)
I have grown cape Gooseberries successfully a few years ago. I live in south east. Fabulous crop. My question is how do you look after the plants after harvest and overwinter. I lost all my plants over the winter so starting again from seed this year. Thankyou. Suzie.
Cape Gooseberry (also Golden Berry, Inca Berry ) 24 Nov, (United Kingdom - warm/temperate climate)
It says it is perennial here so should grow all year. Maybe a light trimming after harvest. Frosts might kill it. Don't over water it during it's dormant time.
Corn Salad (also Lamb's lettuce or Mache) 02 May, Diane Francis (New Zealand - temperate climate)

I have a Chilli Peter bush that I have had a lot of peppers off, can I keep it growing for another season? Thanks Aaron
Chilli peppers (also Hot peppers) 11 Aug, Peter (New Zealand - cool/mountain climate)
I have a chocolate Habanero plant which I brought inside to over winter and I'm amazed to say it actually flowered and I see it has fruit developing now (mid August). These chilli plants need a long growing season and I'm optimistic that I'll get masses of fruit from this plant in the coming months for my hot sauce recipes. Did you manage to over winter your chilli plant Aaron?

Look up individual plants e.g. /www.gardenate.com/plant/Watermelon?zone=2 for information on planting etc.
