My plants are strong and healthy withlots of runners but no fruit they are planted in containers in semi shade please advise

Strawberries need a sunny position in order to flower and bear fruit. They will grow prolific leaves in a semi shaded position but yield of fruit will be low. Also remember they have a limited life span to bear good fruit - replace your old plants every 3-4 years.
