Dear Alison, I am from KZN and would love to have some of your angelica seed. Please advice me how can I get from you and when will be the best time? I can't find anything in the super markets like the cherries? May be they don't supply it anymore to shops? Thank you. Marinda

How do I know which type of angelica I have? It has lovely green shiny leaves which have a very firm feel. It is still a small plant in a pot. As I live in a very cold, frosty place, I dont know how it will tolerate the frost. Any hints! Thank you.

There's a wonderful herb lady who does the farmers' markets around Melbourne. I purchased some Angelica seedlings from her at Kallista market yesterday; she had well over 100 different types of herbs for sale, many that I'd never seen nor even heard of!! Full of garden wisdom too :)

I have found a plant near my wetlands that is over six feet tall and has all the chaaracteristics of the Angelica plant 1. how can I be sure it is angelica and not a poisonous relative and 2. Can I transplant the plant or is it better to plant only seeds?

Can you cut a small sample that is representative of the whole plant and take it to the local county extension service. They should be able to identify for you.
